Call for Applications: Group Attendance to Visions du Réel 2026

Nyon, Switzerland

In collaboration with BFI we are hosting a Group Attendance of UK creative non-fiction producers to the next edition of Visions du Réel, Switzerland, in April 2026.

We are now welcoming applications from UK-based producers with creative documentary projects in active development to take part in this opportunity.

For selected participants, the BFI will cover costs including :
- Return economy travel from the UK to Nyon, Switzerland
- 4 nights' accommodation 
- Visions du Réel industry accreditation

Selected participants will have the opportunity to meet potential international partners, explore co-production opportunities, and gain wide industry insights through the festival's Industry Programme. Participants will be able to take part in a range of VdR Industry activities, including roundtables, one-to-one meetings and networking events.  

To be eligible to apply you must:

• be a producer working in the UK screen sector on a freelance basis; or in a small to medium sized enterprise (SME) that is not substantially owned by a non-UK entity, broadcaster, streamer or studio
• be a UK resident
• have at least one lead producer credit on a completed feature film or TV project that has been released or broadcast commercially in the past 5 years
• have at least one creative documentary feature film on your slate (in active development, production, or post-production) for which you are the lead producer. The project must be intended for theatrical release and seeking European partners

The deadline for applications is 10am on Thursday 11 December 2025.
