LANDFALL weaves together a mosaic of stories from the British coastline and neighbouring shores, capturing lives and landscapes caught in the shifting tides of environmental and social change.
These narratives reveal the tensions embedded in coastal environments—sites of arrival and exclusion, resilience and fragility, leisure and refuge, tragedy and joy. Part observational documentary, part cine-essay, the film traces how these personal stories reflect wider global currents of climate crisis and human movement. At its heart, LANDFALL is a lyrical exploration of place and displacement, migration and landscape, and the entangled relationships between people and the natural world.
