Speaking in Silence tells a poetic, time travelling story of a developing relationship between the filmmaker, a former selective mute, and a child and mother currently facing the challenges of Selective Mutism.
A story about nurturing as a weapon against incapacitating fear, and finding expression in unlikely places, as we search to find a meaningful voice through suffering in silence
