Creative Documentary Making in Focus with Docs Ireland

Join us on Thursday 18th June 2026, 2pm - 5pm at The MAC Belfast for an afternoon dedicated to Creative Non-Fiction.

Presented in partnership with Docs Ireland, this event is open to all documentary filmmaking talent from the UK & the island of Ireland.

The afternoon is dedicated to creative documentary filmmaking, and includes discussions around the intricacies of the filmmaking process, the current festival landscape for film exhibition, and a special focus case study on the BFI Doc Society-funded film Super Nature (2026).
